Zakes Jwili, Over 25 years cumulative experience planning, implementing, monitoring and evaluating digitization programs in South Africa and the USA.
Worked in financial/government and healthcare services upgrading information technology (IT) platforms for business process improvement and automation.
Coordinator with the US-African Union Mission, African/Caribbean embassies, and corporates - crafting initiatives for the advancement of Agenda 2063; mainly for ICT, Infrastructure, Agriculture and Training.
Former leader and board member of the Black Management Forum (BMF) in South Africa – for the advancement of Diversity and Equity Inclusion; represented Business Unity South Africa (BUSA) in trade and policy development at the National Economic Development and Labor Council (NEDLAC) - alongside the now Secretary General of the African Continental Free Trade Area Secretariat, Mr. Wamkele Mene.
Member of the Project Management Institute (certified), the Atlantic Council, and the Chief Technology Officer cohort of Wharton Business School – University of Pennsylvania.
